"Clarity" - John Mayer |

The Witching Hour:
Let me just say two words here: Freaking Awesome. I had such a good time playing and hanging out with the crowd - of who, most I still keep in good contact with! I'd really like to thank Gidget for this hysterical livejournal icon. Thanks again to everyone who stayed after the Potters concert that night. Good show, man. Good show.
I know there are still some that are looking for my songs online. Unfortunately, SkittleSama.com is currently down for maintenance. Still, you can find my album for sale online here.
Since the success of TWH, I will be releasing a full Harry Potter only album before Christams. Look for more information on that on this journal and on _skittlesama_.
Reina's Bar and Grill:
I just wanted to say that I just about died the other night playing at Reina's Bar and Grill. Good crowd, definitely. There were a good bunch of fans there. It's great when you go into a place and they know your tunes. It's even funnier that a couple of fans there were lip synching to "Something like a Nothing".
I look forward to performing there again, soon.

"Old Time Rock 'n Roll!" - Bob Seger |

Constock Music Festival was probably one of the funnest and laid back performances I've ever done. There was no pressure, you could take requests if you wanted, or just lay back and strum- whatever your heart desired. I did manage to get out some really great covers while on stage. A couple of guys there played a mean harmonica and got up and joined me for awhile for a great sounding jam session.
All in all, I've never seen so much weed in my life. Weed and food; lots of weed and food. The best thing about that is that homeless people hear the music, they stumble over and, upon seeing all the people, they begin to beg people for change. Then, with the change they've collected, they run over to my tip jar and dump it all in.
Apprently, when your crowd is high on pot, you can manipulate tips in amazing ways. Example #1:
Rachel: "Hey guys! How's it goin' at the 7th Annual Cornstock Music Festival! My name is Rachel Robichaud..."
Rachel's Tip Jar: *Empty!*
Rachel: "... I enjoy weed too!"
Rachel's Tip Jar: *Exceedingly Bloated!*
-----------------
I hope they know that I was joking when I said that, but you can pretty much say anything over the microphone and people will cheer. I did have a gaggle of fans near the front while I played, which was really fun. It was a decent night. I'd definitely do it again. I'm pleased with how everything went.
Thanks to the supporters who went to see me perform! -Rachel
P.S: Catch me weekends at Rockin' Ron's in Brewer, Maine.

Wish me luck-
I will be performing at Cornstock Acoustic Festival tomorrow in Southern Maine. There are a lot of local artists who are going to be making appearances and as you would guess, I'm one of them.
The festival is a one day event starting at 12:00pm and going until late in the night. Food, fun, stage music- it'll be good.
For all those who are going, we'll see you there.
Rocking the Acoustic Festival, Rachel

Yes, the rumors are true. I will be performing with Harry and the Potters during The Witching Hour. Yes, be there because, yes, it will rock your freaking socks. Between the messages running from Paul, myself and Amy Tenbrink, the show is in planning.
If you haven't registered for the convention yet, get off your rears and get in gear! This is a performance you definitely don't want to miss. As the time draws nearer, I'm looking for fan feedback. What do you all want to hear?
Keeping you updated, Rachel.

"Bad Day" - Fuel |

To let those of you who have been wondering about it: Yes, I will be appearing at The Witching Hour in Salem, Mass. during early October. I will be performing at the convention as the leadperson for The Weird Sisters; the convention being a short stop on the Toil & Trouble Tour.
If there are any fans who are attending, be sure not to miss it on October 7th, 2005.
As of right now, I am in talks with lead event organizer Amy Tenbrink about a songwriting workshop that I will be holding for those who would love to learn how to write a successfully funny 'Potter Parody'. So if you're a fan of The Life, Harry Potter, or just like to write, I invite you to attend the panel. I'll be going over some of the 'do' and 'dont' theories of comedy writing in modern music. This will be after the concert on the 7th, but the official date is yet to be set.
I will keep you all posted,
Thanks! -Rachel
